Are small pets allowed onto the campsite?

Pets are not allowed at Portofelice.

What are the opening times of the reception office for checking in?

The reception is open from 8 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 9 pm.

Is there a cash point? Can I pay by credit card?

The cash point is next to the reception office. Payment can be made by debit and credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Bankamericard, Cartasi).

How can I make a booking?

Bookings can be made by telephone, fax, letter or by completing the form on the booking section of the website.

Booking: what days are arrival and departure days for the accommodation or pitches?

Bungalow: arrivals and departures on Monday or Friday.
Arrival and departure days for the Maxi Caravan: Wednesdays and/or Sundays for the numbers from 157 to 167. Tuesdays and/ or Saturdays for the numbers from 1 to 24 and from 136 to 150. Mondays and/or Fridays for the numbers from 59 to 102 and from 205 to 216.
Gold & Silver Caravan: arrivals and departures on Tuesdays or on Saturdays.
Suite Caravan, Chalet, Chalet Wilma: arrivals and departures on Wednesdays or on Sundays.
Pitches: Mondays and/or Fridays.

What is the minimum stay that can be booked? Can I also book for 10-11 nights?

The minimum stay is 7 nights. Bookings are also accepted for 10-11 nights, based on the departure from the accommodation or pitch.
Depending on period and availability, the Management may accept bookings of less than 7 nights as an exception. For stays of up to 3 nights a supplement of € 40,00 will be charged.

Can I book accommodation if there are 6 people in my family?

The brick chalets can sleep up to 6 people. To check the max. occupation for each type of accommodation, see the price list.

How much is the advance payment? Can I send another advance payment before arriving?

The advance payment is 30% of the total price and can be paid by credit card on the Portofelice website, using the booking code, by bank transfer, postal order or bankers cheque.  You can send more than one advance payment before your arrival.

Are there any other expenses required except the advance payment when I make the booking?

For all the bookings made, as well as the advance payment, there is a € 15 booking fee. For cancellations, this fee is not refunded.

Why does the total amount to be paid not appear on the booking form?

The total does not appear because it can vary according to the number of people present in Portofelice during the stay.

How can I be sure that my booking has been confirmed?

The booking is only confirmed when Portofelice has received the advance payment and original signed booking form.

How and when can I pay the balance?

The balance must be paid at the cash desk within two days of your arrival by cash, credit card/debit card or cheque.

What are the opening times of the cash desk?

The cash desk is open from 8 am until 12 noon and from 5 pm until 7.30 pm.

What types of accommodation are there on the campsite?

At Portofelice there are chalets, brick bungalows and mobile homes (Maxi Caravans and “Bürstner” Suite Caravans).

Are linen and cleaning included in the price of the accommodation?

Linen and cleaning are not included. They can be requested and charged for separately.

Are the Gold, Silver, Maxi and Suite Caravans fixed or mobile structures?

They all are mobile structures.

Do the Bungalows have two bedrooms?

The Bungalows have one double room and the other beds are in the living room.

Is there any accommodation for disabled guests? What is it like?

Two bungalows and two chalets are equipped for disabled people with special bathrooms and wider doors.

Are air conditioning, TV, microwave ovens and safe deposit boxes provided in all the accommodation?

All the accommodation has safe deposit boxes, air conditioning, TV, microwave ovens and fridges with freezer compartments, crockery and pans, mosquito nets and verandas.

Is there a washing machine available in the accommodation?

The washing machines are not in the accommodation – they are available to use in the toilet block.

What time are the arrivals and departures ?

The accommodation is available from 5 pm and must be left by 10 am.

Which pitches can be booked?

The pitches that can be booked are in the Standard area (from 1 to 75) and Eden (from 1 to 70).

Can cars be parked on the pitch?

Cars must be parked in the special numbered car parks. The pitches with internal car parking spaces are shown by the staff.

Can a tent and caravan be set up in the same pitch or do I have to book two pitches?

You can set up a tent and caravan/camper van on the same pitch only if there is enough space for both.

Can cars always be used during the day on the campsite?

Cars can only be used on the campsite from 7.30 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 11.30 pm.

Can a wood barbecue be used?   

A wood barbecue can only be used in the chalets, bungalows and Gold caravan. In the rest of the campsite, only gas barbecues are allowed.

Is there a charge for beach umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach and at the swimming pool? Can they be booked in advance?

There is a charge for sun loungers and beach umbrellas and they can be requested from the life guards. No advance bookings are accepted.

What are the opening times of the swimming pool? Are there any slides or hot tubs?

The swimming pools are open from 10 am until 1 pm and from 3 pm until 7 pm. There are two water slides and two hot tubs available for guests to use with some age limits.

Are swimming caps compulsory in the pool?

Swimming caps are not required in the pool.

Can I take my beach umbrella/deck chair into the swimming pool? And onto the beach?

You cannot take your own deck chair/beach umbrella into the swimming pool, but they can be hired. There is a free area on the beach where you can set up your own equipment.

How far is the beach? Can I get to the beach by bike?

The beach is about 200 m away through a luxuriant pine forest. You can only get to the beach on foot.

Is there any entertainment?

There is an entertainment team at Portofelice from 15.5 to 6.9.

What sports can  be played?

Tennis, football, basketball, volley ball, table tennis, fitness trail, boules, etc. can all be played at Portofelice.

 Is there a charge for the entertainment activities?

All the activities offered by the entertainment team are free.

Which of the children’s games must be paid for?

Mini kart, mini boat, Gommapiuma, and the games room must be paid for.

Is there a doctor on the campsite? How far is the nearest hospital from the campsite?

The doctor is present every day from 6.30 pm to 7 pm. Jesolo Lido hospital is about 14 km away.

Is there an Internet Point? Wi-Fi?

There is a brand new multimedia room with computers and Wi-Fi connection next to the shopping centre. There is Wi-Fi coverage throughout the campsite.

Restaurant: Can half board and/or full board be agreed? How much do they cost?

Half board or full board can be agreed directly with the management of the internal restaurant at Portofelice.

Are there any safe deposit boxes?

All the accommodation has its own safe deposit box. There are also safe deposit boxes in the multimedia room and in the information office.

Can bikes be hired? And what else?

Bikes, gas barbecues, fridges, rickshaws etc. can all be hired at the assistance centre, which is also available for small repairs.

Public transport: Where is the bus stop? Where can I get to?

The bus stop is opposite the campsite entrance. You can get to Caorle, Jesolo, San Donà di Piave and Venice by bus.

Taxis: Can I book a taxi?

You can fill in the request form on the Portofelice website and book a taxi from the airport to the campsite. You can book for various journeys on site.
